Planning

Today I'm in planning mood..so I decided to take a look at the apartments available for September/October..I've got nothing..You wouldn't believe what people are trying to lease..Terrible.

I looked through hundreds of adds..nothing intrigued me..Thank god I have 3 more months to find something..The only thing I know is that it's going to be in Šiška..because I love that part of Ljubljana.I got used to it in the last two years..So if anyone knows of a nice, 2 or 3 room apartment somewhere in Stara Cerkev or Spodnja Šiška..Please let me know =)

So the apartment hunting wasn't a success...I moved on to find a transport to the Venice airport (Treviso) and back to Ljubljana..I mean come on..I can't pay 70 eur for round trip..If I paid 60 eur for the flight form Venice to Girona and back..I don't know based on what they come up with the prices..but I don't like it. I'm really thinking of hitchhiking.but with the luggage and everything I don't now if I'm up for it..

I think I'm gonna wait a little more..and see how the prices change in time..I have three weeks still..so It's gonna be ok..

I just can't wait till 18th June..Waaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!

Paradise

Okaay..So in one of my previous posts I mentioned that I might be going back to Cadaques..I am!!! =) With Kristina..We go there from 18. until 23. June..

It is the one of most beautiful cites I've ever seen..I don't usually go to the same place twice..but there are just some places that you never have enough of..And now I'm gonna show you why Cadaques is one of them...

It all started last year, when one of my best friends got a job there..For a whole summer..Off course I realized that that meant we won't see each other..again (she studies in France).. Except..if I went to visit her there..What a great idea that was-thank you Kristina!

I flew from Venice to Girona (40 eur for a return flight ^^)..Off course the plane was late..so I arrived there around 1.30am..Kristina was working so she couldn't come pick me up, and there were no more buses that late..But thankfully Kristina has great friends..and one of them came and picked me up.

First thing I remember about Cadaques is arriving to the top of the hill and looking down to the perfect city..all white in the night..

We met together with the others and drank some cocktails..and went to bed..And then my journey began the next day..When she wasn't working, she took me places, and when she was, she arranged for someone to show me around..Because it's a small city I soon managed to go everywhere by myself..

We ate in great restaurants..Taverna-best hamburgers ever!!! And Haiku-one of the best sushi restaurants-where Angela (the girl we were staying with) worked. The chef/owner invited us to a meal there (again thanks to Kristina)..And it was Legen-....wait for it...-dary!!
I mean I never ate sushi before, and I don't eat vegetables..but that sushi and soja beans were amazing..

Gotta try this amazing food!!

Usually a meal costs around 120 eur per person..But not for us off course.. =) I met tons of people..most of them worked in bars and restaurants..so we didn't really spend that much money on food and drinks.. ^^ Which was great..Plus, we had a free place to sleep..

Every night we went out..to one street where everything happens..Have to mention two bars that we spent the most time in..

Amazing time..!!! Drinking Chupitos and dancing until dawn..Perfection!

Every morning I would go to breakfast and natural juice to Kristinas job..and then..relaxing on a beach..preferably somewhere..with not so many tourists..Like:

Perfect beach..with shadows in the ''caves''..Nobody around but you and some occasional hiker.

I fell in love with the place..and the amazing people who live there..I can't wait to go back to heaven =* =*

Bistrica ob Sotli

Yesterday we went out. As usually in Posavje, we had no idea where to go..so we drove around...and got lucky with hitting one club Metulj in Bistrica ob Sotli where Carnaval were playing...They were great..More about them (if you like stonerrock): http://www.carnaval.si/

And all the alcohol there is really really cheap..we loved it..So the evening actually turned out really great!!
This was now the second time in last month in Bistrica that we got to know great, very nice people (first was 1st May celebration)..I think that we'll be back..soon ^^
